The Pete Dye Course has been referred to as the most breath taking and exciting 18 holes of golf in the country.
World Golf Hall of Fame Architect, Pete Dye has constructed more than 120 golf courses. In his 50 plus years of designing courses, The Pete Dye Course in French Lick, Indiana is the first and only Pete Dye project to be documented during construction. Mike Gurnell has compiled a unique collection of images of The Pete Dye Course. His book entitled, 'THE COURSE' show case the genius of Pete Dye. Pete considers this course to be arguably the "best inland site that he has worked on." The Pete Dye Course opened in April, 2009. In December of 2009, Golf Digest and Golf Magazine honored The Course by selecting it as the Best New Public Course in the Country. Golfweek selected The Course as the Number One Public Course In Indiana for 2009. The Pete Dye Course was the Host Site for The 2010 PGA PROFESSIONAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, and has been awarded the Big Ten Men's and Women's Golf Championships in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
